The stream will be optomised for 3G handsets via a dedicated FIFA camera which will record specifically for the mobile.

“This deal offers Optus mobile users the very highest quality match broadcasts tailor-made for mobiles. It will give them blanket coverage from morning to night with the whole gamut of FIFA World Cup-related content such as team-specific reports, updates, downloads and clips,” said Niclas Ericson, Director of FIFA’s TV Division.
