Tasmania will be one of the most connected places in the world by 2014

Mr Bartlett has told a Broadband Future Forum in Sydney that by 2014, Tasmania would be one of the most connected places in the world.

“When this process is complete as I’ve said we will be able to compare ourselves with places like Japan and Korea who currently some 38 to 40 per cent of penetration of optic fibre, and we will be up in the 85 to 90 per cent level,” he said.
