Unwired Group renamed to Wireless Broadband Australia

The media and investment group’s wireless internet subsidiary Vividwireless yesterday confirmed that Unwired founder David Spence would resign from the company at the end of the month, leaving chief executive Martin Mercer to take full control of the business.

Also, effective from yesterday’s announcement, Seven’s wireless internet operation has been renamed, from Unwired Group to Wireless Broadband Australia.
