Telstra are offering Apple 3G iPad prepaid mobile broadband plans for as little as $20 for 1GB data allowance. To get you started, Telstra have a Prepaid Apple iPad SIM Kit with 1GB data that will cost you $30 and comes with no contract length. Activate by June 30th and receive an extra 2GB of data that will give you a whopping 3GB initially. Most plans come with 30 day expiry period.
Optus have countered Telstra’s Apple 3G iPad plan options by offering more iPad plans, slightly longer expiry periods and in some instances slightly cheaper prices. Optus Apple 3G iPad plans vary from 15, 30, 60 and 186 day validation periods.
